DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
A. WHAT WE COLLECT
To process your franchise application for any of the JFC brands, we need to collect the following personal information:
- Username and password
- Full name
- Residential Address
- Contact information (Email, Address, Home and Mobile Phone No.)
- Business Experience (Company Name, Address, Telephone Number, Position, Nature of the Business, and Years in the Business)
- Previous work experience (Company Name, Address, Position, Nature of the Business, Date employed, Responsibilities
- Civil Status
- Involvement in any criminal charge or pending litigation
- Financial Status (Declaration of bankruptcy, Net worth, and Liquid Assets), and
- Relationship with any JFC Employee, Franchisee, or Managing Director
We will also need to collect third-party information from you for the purposes described below in the "What We Do With The Information We Gather" section: The following are the third-party information to be collected from you:
- Mother's Name
- Mother's business (if any)
- Father's Name
- Father's business (if any)
- Spouse's Name
- Spouse's Business
- Name of children
- Lessor Name (if applicable)
- Lessor contact information
If you provide the information identified above, we assume that you have obtained the permission of the relevant third-party to share their information with us through the JFC Franchising Online Facility. You understand and agree that JFC is not responsible for obtaining such consent and/or for any liability which may arise in the absence of such consent.
B. HOW WE COLLECT
If you simply browse through the JFC Franchising Online Facility without registering an account, we do not collect any of your personal information.
C. WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION WE GATHER
We will process the information we have collected with your consent and on the assumption that you have obtained the consent of the third-party, for the following purposes:
- To give you access to your own profile and provide you an overview of your franchise application status. For accepted applicants, the same profile shall be used to view your existing store count.
- To process your application for a franchise.
- To send important communications and notices regarding the franchise application status or the franchise business, when accepted.
- To contact you for any franchise-related engagement activities as well as other franchise-related activities which JFC may sponsor or facilitate.
- To be used for analysis and/or analytics on the franchising business of JFC and profiling of its franchise applicants.
- On personal information of third-parties, to identify affiliates of the franchise applicant; such information shall then form part of the Franchise Agreement.
The personal information you have provided shall also be used for any direct marketing purpose in connection with the Franchise Agreement.
D. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
At times, we may disclose your personal information to our accredited partners for Credit and Background Investigation, such disclosure being part of the JFC franchise application requirements.
We will not sell or lease your personal information to third parties. We will not distribute your personal information to third parties other than those stated above, and unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
E. SECURITY STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
We are committed to ensuring that your information we collect and store is secure. To prevent unauthorized access, processing or disclosure of your personal information, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the personal information we collect online such as but not limited to data encryption and access restrictions on our databases.
We store your personal information in JFC's secured internal database, which may be accessed by our?accredited partners. We retain your?personal information as long as?you are a?franchise partner?of any of our JFC brands. If there is no activity within?sixty?months (60?months), we shall dispose of your personal information in accordance with the relevant privacy rules and our internal guidelines.
F. CONTROLLING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
If you have created an account on the JFC Franchising Online Facility or are a registered user, you will have access to the personal information you have submitted to us. If you believe that any information we have is incorrect or incomplete, you have an option to edit it out using your registered account.

Please ensure that you have read carefully and understand the terms and conditions ("Terms") contained in this document (the "Terms and Conditions"). Any use of the JFC Franchising Online Facility means your acceptance of the Terms set by Jollibee Foods Corporation ("JFC") which includes its subsidiaries [Fresh N' Famous Foods, Inc. doing business in the name and style of "CHOWKING" and "GREENWICH", Mang Inasal Philippines, Inc. and Red Ribbon Bakeshop, Inc.].

The JFC Franchising Online Facility and the information contained therein are owned by JFC. No reproduction of the JFC Franchising Online Facility or any of its portion, including but not limited to the trade names, logos, registered and unregistered trademarks and service marks of JFC or any of its subsidiaries mentioned above, shall be made. Any unauthorized use, misuse, copying or misappropriation of the website, or any portion thereof, tradenames, trademarks and service marks used in the JFC Franchising Online Facility is strictly prohibited.
C. ACCURACY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
You agree to be fully responsible in ensuring that the information submitted to the JFC Franchising Online Facility is complete and accurate.
D. ACCOUNT USAGE
You agree to have full responsibility for all transactions made in your accounts through the use of your email address or user ID and password.
You further agree that you are responsible for keeping your account secure at all times.
E. USE OF THE JFC FRANCHISING ONLINE FACILITY
You understand that the following are the services offered by the JFC Franchising Online Facility:

- Apply for a Philippine franchise of any one, some, or all JFC brands, i.e. Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich, Mang Inasal and Red Ribbon (each a "JFC Brand" or collectively, "JFC Brands")
- Refer a proposed store site for any JFC Brand/s (applicable to existing JFC franchise partners only)
- Monitor the status of your franchise and/or site application
- View the upcoming franchise-related trainings and engagement initiatives (applicable to existing JFC franchise partners)
a. Franchise Application
You understand and agree that the franchise application process requires you to accomplish a series of screening activities not limited to the following:
- Initial screening
- Personality Assessment
- Credit and Background investigation
- Series of interviews and meetings with the Management of JFC or any JFC Brand
- Store Immersion
- Payment of fees
- Franchise Agreement Signing
b. Site Application
You agree to supply all information and documents relevant to the processing of the site application.
You understand that the proposed store sites you submitted to JFC shall undergo a site assessment process with JFC's Real Estate Team. You will be notified by any reasonable means if the proposed store site does not meet JFC's requirements.
You understand that the result of the site assessment process is final. In case of rejection of such proposed site due to developmental matters, you understand that any such re-application is subject to the internal guidelines of JFC.
You understand and agree that approval of the proposed site does not automatically mean the site will be awarded to you. In some instances, you may be offered to have it leased by another franchisee, or by JFC, or by a JFC Brand. For the avoidance of doubt, such approval does not preclude either JFC, or a JFC Brand or another franchisee to negotiate the commercial terms of a possible lease with you.
c. Personality Assessment
You agree to take the personality assessment as part of your franchise application requirements. The result of this assessment is confidential and shall only be used to evaluate your suitability as a JFC Franchise Partner.
Your complete name and email address are provided to a third-party by the Franchising Manager of the JFC Brand where a franchise is being applied for, in order to generate the link to the personality assessment that you need to accomplish. Only Jollibee Worldwide Services ? Staffing Services, the relevant JFC Brand Franchising Heads and Managers, and Regional Business Unit Heads will have access to the results of your personality assessment test, which are kept confidential.
d. Credit and Background Investigation
You agree to be verified for credit investigation and background investigation ("CIBI") as part of your franchise application requirements. The outcome of the CIBI shall be discussed with you during the series of interviews with the management of JFC or any JFC Brand. The result of the CIBI are confidential and can only be accessed only by the Regional Business Unit Head, the Franchising Head and Managers of the JFC Brand being applied for.
e. Going Through the Motion
You agree to undergo a store immersion activity to observe the store's daily operations, as scheduled by the relevant JFC Brand Area Manager. After the store immersion activity, the relevant JFC Brand Area Manager will evaluate you and you will also have an assessment regarding your store immersion experience. You are expected to attend and provide insights on whether or not you would like to push through with the application.
f. Business Direction Discussion
Once you have completed the store immersion activity, you are considered to have completed the franchise application process. However, you shall be invited to a separate in-person discussion on the requirements prior to opening a store. This is the Business Direction Discussion.
The documents presented during the Business Direction Discussion is for discussion purposes only. It is not an investment advice. It is not a guarantee, representation, warranty, or recommendation. Please independently evaluate the accuracy, completeness, and usefulness of the contents of the documents presented during the Business Direction Discussion. We assume no responsibility for your use of the contents of the documents presented during the Business Direction Discussion, and franchising and/or investment decisions or results.
You agree and understand that the discussion items are merely representative of how the store operations would perform. The store performance depends on different factors not limited to the following: i) maturity of the market, ii) the brand, and iii) the management. You hereby hold JFC and any of the JFC Brands free from any claims relating to the sales forecast presented.
F. CHANGES IN THE AGREEMENT
JFC may modify, update, or amend this Terms and Conditions, or any Terms applicable to any services related to the Franchise Application. If there is a change in the Terms and Conditions, JFC will notify you of the changes by posting the updated copy online. Please refer to the effectivity and revision date of this agreement to ensure that the Terms and Conditions you are agreeing to is updated.
G. NO WARRANTIES AND LIMITATIONS AND LIABILITY
We are not making any representations or warranties concerning any studies, reports or conclusions, economic or otherwise, which may have been prepared in connection with or as basis for your franchise application. We shall not be liable for any loss, expense, cost or damage arising out, arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with your reliance on the said studies, reports or conclusions, economic or otherwise.
We shall not be liable for any loss, expense, cost or damage arising out, arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with force majeure, and any circumstances beyond our control, and over which we could not have avoided even with the exercise of reasonable care, or any indirect or unforeseeable loss suffered or incurred by customers or third parties.
- I am of legal age (at least 18 years old) and have the capability to enter into terms, conditions, and obligations contained in this Terms and Conditions of Use.
- All information and documents I have submitted are accurate and correct.
- I have obtained the consent from the relevant parties for all information provided that was collected by me from third-party sources.
